Bob, that was a great turn out. 17 boats. Wow!!!! Prior to that we had 14 boats.

Congratulations are in order to Takeoff, Joan and crew. They just kept stretching out the lead right form the start. Great job!

Someone tell me what kind of starting line was that? I kept on waiting for committee boat to adjust the line, (wishful thinking) and then next thought we could run the line and catch all you guys on port. Hell, you couldn't run the line at close haul.
So decided to join the pack. Then my main timer guy lost the count and the flags for the start. Solved that problem by hanging tight with IXXIS who was whispering very well. Thank you Ed.

We on Vent Vitesse had a great time. I need to talk to Tortuga. Steve and I were trading tacks on the second windward leg. Steve final settled on our windward hip and astern on layline to the mark. The position remained unchanged for quite awhile. Then Steve shifted gears and rolled me. Like to know who was peddling down below? Nice racing with you Steve. Made my crew want to come back for more.

We have a custom on our boat. Somewhere during the course of the race we must but a hole or tear in the spinnaker. Yes, we met our goal. The second Spinnaker run there was a bit of confusion on trim, I called for trim and the pole came back, spin sheet came in and the pole tip pulled down. Before it could be stopped a tear appeared on the bottom middle panel. So if your are bored, you folks can count the patches.

Thanks to the fleet for coming out to play. Missed you Slim and Break Away.  Saw Ron sailing a little boat, ---- canoe, ------- Moore 24:) Looks like Takeoff is taking Preparation J's position on the fleet and collecting bullets:)
