No one has said it yet, so I guess I will. Joan Byrne and her Takeoff crew
have saided that boat spectacularly so far. Talk about most improved
performance in the fleet!
Also, I certainly took note of Lester's performance on Wishful Thinking. Not bad for a guy who hasn't raced much in this fleet. Same goes for Tony on Vent Vitesse. Congratulations.
We on Jane Doe felt like we were stuck in low gear on the first leg of the race and never recovered. We saw an awful lot of sterns on Saturday.
It was a great turnout and I hope a preview of great things to come for this fleet. Thanks to everyone for coming out to compete.
