Absolutely delightful pix for the race. They add a whole new dimension to the day on the water.
Sorry I missed the Encinal planning meeting. I now work in Napa four 10-hour days (8 a.m.-7 p.m.) and rent a room up there during the week, which makes it hard to get to evening meetings out of that area. The race schedule looks good.
We're still debating whether to spend $2500 on a new #1 (our 3DL is embarrassingly beyond shot) or switch from racing to cruising. We'll see what our budget allows. (I don't think it will work to put it on my Christmas list; when I sat on Santa's lap, he muttered something about not planning to deliver gifts in a sail bag.) So far we're only committed to our Sausalito Yacht Club winter series, but we're working on the Corinthians.
