Bob Izmirian has made a good point in an e-mail to me, and I think we should act on it.

We need a meeting to talk about the schedule and some issues in the fleet. We need to do it reasonably soon so that the schedule gets set up with HDA and all, in time. It doesn't have to last for hours.

I know that no matter what time/date I propose there will always be some people who can't come. I don't like that, but there's no way around it, so here we go. Since we know at least eight boats/skippers and their crews will be at the Great Pumpkin, and that's going to be the greatest concentration of SF 30's people until January Midwinters (when it will be too late to decide), the meeting will be after racing is over on Saturday, at the Great Pumpkin race.

I will tabulate everything I get via the listserv and my two raceforms and come to the Richmond Yacht Club after Saturday's Great Pumpkin race with all the data. I'll propose a schedule based on what I've gathered over the past month or more. We can talk it over, and make a decision.

Hey, this means that we have to stop partying long enough to actually agree on something! Be ready to actually be serious for 30 minutes, OK?

Make a DECISION.... what we decide after the Great Pumpkin **is** the Fleet Schedule, assuming we can get what we want from HDA.

So, if you want to be in on the discussion, be at the Richmond Yacht Club after the Great Pumpkin! If you can't be there, send a crew member to represent your boat. I'm not racing, and I'll be there.
