How's about this Saturday we talk a little bit about what
folks want to do schedule-wise next year. I'll try to get a
feel for it, and then I'll put together a website with a
form on it where people can "vote" for what they want. If
enough people check in to actually make a fleet, then I'll
sort through the opinions, post a tenative schedule to the
e-mail list, and sort through the discussion.
Once we make a decision I'll make the arrangements. I strongly suspect that there will be two "camps"....those that want to sail a lot and those who don't. The decision will be between A.) scheduling lots of racing, knowing that the majority of the fleet won't show up most of the time but giving everyone lots of chances to race, and B.) setting up a really light schedule in the hopes that pretty much everyone makes it to all the events.
If not enough people check in to make a fleet, say seven at a minimum, well then.... We'll see. Received on Wed Sep 5 15:10:27 2001
