Alan, I'm not sure what you have in mind for the "end of the year bash."
We've never had anything more formal than a drink together at South Beach
following the end of the summer racing season. When the fleet was in
formation I held a couple of scheduling meetings to get a sense of the
commitment level of the sailors and to create a sailing schedule. There's
really no further need for that given the e-mail list and the fairly
predictable cadence the fleet has adopted for its races.
I'm open to any and all suggestions with the caveat that I've passed the torch (to whom, you ask?) and look forward to working with the next generation of fleet leadership. Received on Tue Sep 4 20:04:41 2001
