A fleet coda?

Only a few of you have responded to the suggestion for an end of season get together at South Beach Yacht Club after the races on 9/8, so I'm taking that as a collective yawn and will take no further steps to make it happen.

I also had very little feedback on the shorthanded racing suggestions, so that too will be dropped from active consideration.

I guess all that leaves is the question of whether the fleet intends to race together for the winter series, and if so, which one(s)? If that is going to happen someone else will have to step up to arrange it.

I think I've flogged the fleet more than most of you would want in an attempt to keep interest up and have pretty much run out of optimism that this fleet has anything left in it. I believe we've dropped below critical mass to keep the fleet intact but would welcome being proved wrong. It's now up to someone else to try to carry on or not. I've certainly enjoyed racing with the fleet and don't regret a moment of its existence. I'll support what others want to do, but from here on out it becomes someone else's problem.
