Sorry for being such an alarmist, but the quiet on the website, the lack of
interest in the south bay race, and the late turnout for the BD got me very
nervous about the fleet.
Having been party to several other self destructing fleets over the years, and just finishing the new (to me) boat, I guess I may have feared the worst...

THOUGHT: What do you guys think about doing some sort of travelling beer-can race deal? eg visiting each other's clubs to participate in beercans to generate crew interest for the guys who are trying to get crew together? I could see going to South Beach, Berkeley or Richmond from Alameda. Sure would be cool to comprise half of a beer can fleet with fast 30's! Received on Fri Mar 9 08:23:41 2001
