I know that this is a Laser message board (I keep my Laser on the Baja now) but I am trying to round up as many C Larks as possible for Lake Chelan. We have a C Lark revival going on over here on the Lake. An "oldie but a goodie". We have nine boats on the Lake now and seven are actively racing. The Lake Chelan Sailing Association has been created for the purpose of Junior training, C Lark competition and general sailing interest. We host a great regatta the second weekend of September. I would love to see as many Lasers as possible here next year. The Lasers used to come over in the 80's for the regatta (I sailed a couple) and it is a great venue. Sunshine and fresh water (good accommodations and camping are available). The last two years we've had great winds (20+ knots) and a lot of fun. Maybe you could get it on your calendar? Back to the C Larks. I know there are a billion of them in the Puget Sound area and if you know of any that are dusting away in somebody's garage or driveway, let me know. We have a market for them as we build our fleet. My email address is merriman@nwi.net and if you are interested in the regatta, our website (currently hosted by the Hobie fleet) is http://hobie535.ourwest.com/lcsa/.
