Hi all,
I'm emailing to give a little update re. the dry moorage compound.
Some skippers are concerned about the release of the updated BMP's and washing down their boats. You can still wash your boat but you are required to ONLY use as small amount of "boat soap" as possible. The recommended treatment for washing is: West Marines "Boat Soap" as it has no phosphates & is also biodegradable. The soap can be acquired at any West Marine store and is also available online for those that shop on the Internet. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001 <http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=72442> &langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=72442

For further information on everything else re. use of other chemicals etc., you can obtain a copy of the "Boater's Guide" printed by the Puget Soundkeeper Alliance. We have a few copies in the Shilshole moorage office and have requested more from them. Their number is:206.297.7002.
