Scott,

This is a fantastic idea. I have a lot of those emails saved also and am willing to help you with any that you may not have.

One suggestion that I have for the SLF Manual is a section on local knowledge for Shilshole Bay. While there are not many absolutes, there are quite a few "rules of thumb" that each sailor has with regard to current, wind shifts, thermal wind effect, etc. The goal of the local knowledge section would be to publish everyones rules of thumb and catagorize them so the new sailor coming in has a place to get up to speed. This could be a combined project with the Tasar fleet.

By the way, if you or anyone has any suggestions of changes or additions to the D6 (former SLF) website, please let me know. I'm a little behind in getting the schedule up to date. Andy Hunt has done a significant amount of work lately to nail down the 2004 schedule. Our goal is to have the schedule complete and firm by the end of the year. I know many people are eager to start scheduling their summer.
