I would like to hear from more people interested in us sponsoring the North American masters Championship.
I have contacted Cary Poe in Portland about holding such an event and he would be glad to do it. It would be in July or August. We are trying to pick a date that would work.
They need an entry fee of $65 for running a three day event-plus money for a social evening event. Probably the entry would be $ 75-85 total.
We would be responsible for Notice of Race, registration, and trophies-and coordinating a social event.
What do you think? Let me know and come sailing Sunday at Shilshole and we can talk about it. Also there are possibilities for a open national event here in 2005.
