The mast rake considered neutral from the factory is 12' 6 1/2" so if the number is greater it's considered more rake and smaller is considered more stood up. The factory uses a rather elaborate jig to ensure consistency and I have found rake became quite consistent from about 1996 on.

Could someone post the prefered laser mast rake number?   I know the measurement is from the top of the lower section, to center of the top edge of the transom but I am missing the number.   Additionally, does anyone know what is the tolerance number from the builder, it is?   This is not in the Laser handbook.

  Thanks,
