Here is a reply I got from Andy Hunt regarding the Canadian Border Crossing. Those planning to head north this weekend please ensure you have passport or birth certificate.

He said that they had almost no wait at the border either way (the Canadian Sailing Team was also at the Midwinters East and West). They left before the current situation in Iraq but got back today. He said that a passport or birth cirtificate is mandatory at the border (just a driver's license is not good enough). If you look at a copy of Laser World, you will see the Copyright and Liability warning at the bottom of the front page.
