 Steve,

The best way I have found to eliminate water throughout the inside of Rage is to use a Cruisair in the forward hatch. This totally evaporates ANY water throughout the boat. I normally rinse the inside of the boat after a race that has taken any wet kites into the cabin, or taken waves over the bow, pump the majority of water out, and start the A/C.

When I first purchased the A/C, I marked the waterline, came back a week later to find her 3 inches higher in the water, since then, I have hauled her for at least 3 months prior to racing season, and maintained the a/c running, and she's never felt lighter!

I poked around last night with my mini-mag and couldn't find a path
for the area to drain. It looked to me like there's a full height transverse
web that would block water from running forward into the sump. There are also no limber holes like the ones that drain the settees into the sump from
the sides. If I am right (and I hope I'm not) these voids could hold a significant amount of water weight. Perhaps some exploratory drilling is in
order...
