I recall that on my boat, I have holes on each side (stb & prt) of the
"molded pan" you have described. This seems to drain most all water that
may make its way into and under the area of the mid cabin bunks. As for
some of the area forward and aft of this area I have just assumed that
Schock would have provided for drainage, hopefully into and though these
same holes I described.

Subject: Void areas between pan and hull
Question:
As far as I can tell there is nowhere for water to drain from between the
moulded pan and the hull directly forward and directly aft of the keel bolt
sump. Am I wrong here? does the void between the galley/nav station floor
and the hull somehow drain to the sump? I am sure that if not these voids
would over the years collect some water (weight). i am tempted to put an
inspection port in on centerline just forward of the motor box, and just aft
of the head grating sump so I can assure myself that the boat is really
COMPLETELY dry.
Thoughts?
