Void areas between pan and hull

Question:
As far as I can tell there is nowhere for water to drain from between the moulded pan and the hull directly forward and directly aft of the keel bolt sump. Am I wrong here? does the void between the galley/nav station floor and the hull somehow drain to the sump? I am sure that if not these voids would over the years collect some water (weight). i am tempted to put an inspection port in on centerline just forward of the motor box, and just aft of the head grating sump so I can assure myself that the boat is really COMPLETELY dry.
Thoughts?
