Checkstays

Have any of you PC guys run your checkstays to tracks on the top of the house like the GPs? My runners work great when they are on, but its a tangled mess when they are loose and flying around trying trying to kill me.

We only use the things in moderate air, or when trying to power up in lulls when its blowing.

I've had a couple of instances during gybes where the boom catches a runner and holds the damn thing at about 45 degrees, snags on the tiller hinge, etc etc.

It seems the tracks forward would be MUCH cleaner and out of the way. Since we have none of the turning blocks and gaggle of strings running down the sides of the house, it seems like theres plenty of room for the tracks. I'm just a little concerned about the uplift force on the house as a result of loading up a checkstay there (although the tracks should distribute the load to some extent).

Thoughts?
