I removed the Signet equipment two seasons ago after a repair on an instrument lasted about 40 days. I filled in and faired the old bulkhead openings. I replaced the equipment with a NEXUS Multi,a Wind Data and a Steer pilot, two new through hulls, mast head, server and a compass. We fabricated a bracket to hold the three instruments and mounted it below the boom on the mast. Easy to read from anywhere aft of the boom, day or night. The new through hull transducers went into the existing openings only requiring bedding. I have about $2500.00 in the system and it works great.
