New member here, hoping to buy a boat in the bay area. Looking at one in sausalito (registered in Texas) and am vaguely aware of one for sale in richmond or alameda. Anyone know anything about the Alameda boat?
More generally, what is a fair price for a clean boat in sound condition with a serviceable inventory of sails, and complete spinnaker equipment?
I have heard about a "headroom "issue on the GP versions. Can anyone elaborate on this for me?
Finally, what are the issues with these boats that seem to be common problems in the fleet. Basically Id like to know if there is anything in particular that i should have the marine surveyor watch for.
