John,

Our site pops right up using Google which is one of the most popular search engines. I don't think we need to spend money on this. Anyone looking for Santana 30/30s can find our site.

If anything, I feel our class should rejoin USSailing ODCC (One Design Class Council) for $75. With that, we get our web site listed with all the other one design classes. Check out http://www.ussailing.org/odcc/ Right now, Santana 30/30 is listed but Mike G. is the only contact which is telephone only. No web site and no email listed for us!

  From the US Sailing site:
ODCC Programs & Services
 by Patty Lawrence

US Sailing does a multitude of tasks, but basically they can be divided into two categories: committees and councils. Committees provide services. For example, the Racing Rules Committee develops proposals for the rulebook. Councils represent the sailors. The One-Design Class Council-you guessed it-serves the needs of one-design sailors.

ODCC, one of the largest constituencies at US Sailing, represents about 150 classes. If your class is a member of US SAILING, then it is part of ODCC. The primary purpose of ODCC is to encourage the growth of small boat sailing and class racing and to facilitate communication between one-design class associations. Class membership is $75 annually.

	Just my 2 cents,
