It will be interesting to see the quantitave effect that PHRF optimizing
(lightening) the boat has made on her weight, as compared with class boats.
My cert says 6500 lbs which is our goal.

Question: Would you guys consider the removal of the head door illegal by class standards? We took ours out and put a little curtain up instead of the door. It really opens the cabin up and makes using the head underway much easier (no wrestling with the door while doing angles and dangles). Its attached to the port bulkhead all along it's height, and slides on a bungee which is detachable for racing sans any fairer sex crew...

Another neat addition was the fittment of a clear inspection port just above the shaft coupling in the cockpit sole which allows setting the prop from the cockpit instead of doing the quarterberth crawl thing. Its also kind of cool to look down there while under power and being able to see the engine. For engine service, with one side panel off, its nice and light in there which makes engine room work alot more pleasant (less miserable?).
