I just was down at my boat this afternoon and checked my shroud set up.
The lowers are on outboard hole (#1) and the intermediate (#3) and uppers (#4) are inline for and aft with the intermediate in front position. The inner hole (#2) is empty except that we keep our check stays there when not in use.

don't know if this helps or not but, Mike is right that the boats have
different configurations. Not sure what is the best or right one. Maybe
someone from Schock can shed some light?
