The rules that govern advertising on a boat and sponsorship have now been changed. This was always up to the clubs to do something about now it is up to the classes. I understand this to mean that if PHRF decided that advertising was acceptable then it would be in all phrf races. So it seems that we as a class have the same options open to us. Is anyone out there familiar with what the new rule actually says? Does sponsorship easy the cost of racing? Does it fracture the class into more parts? Do we want to allow it? This is an issue we probably need to look at. Received on Mon Feb 5 10:03:43 2001
