The amendments that I will propose for the national meeting at 2000 nationals
will include limiting mainsails to dacron, limiting sail inventory to 6 sails
carried/measured, and limiting sail sizes to 2 headsails, 1 sail greater than
150% and 1 sail less than 110%....maybe even limit it to 5 sails (2
spinnakers)
There are presently PNW boats that have light and heavy #1's as well as #2's
and .4oz, .6oz, .8oz and 1.2 oz. spinnakers (this is sick!)
A separate amendment would limit sail purchases to 2 sails per year.
