Richard Spindler, owner of the magazine "Latitude 38" is selling his = Olson 30. He's asking around $10K for the boat. However, I'm confident = in saying that the price is probably quite negotiable. He originally = purchased the boat for his employees to sail. Evidently, he wants to = get rid of the boat because Latitude 38 employees didn't sail her = enough! When they did race her, they did quite well in the Corinthian = YC beercan series and other bay races. The boat is in OK condition. She = has an inboard engine, recent Micron bottom paint, Harken = roller-furling, an original single-spreader rig, but is in need of new = sails and some TLC. She's water-sailed, and docked in Schoonmaker Point = Marine. She needs some work/cleaning-up. This Olson 30 would be ideal = for someone who is interested in getting into an active fleet, but = doesn't want to spend big dollars. Or this boat might be considered for = shorthanded racing. If you or anyone you know of might be interested, = page Marty (the Harbormaster) at 415 280-2084. He's handling the sale = now as Richard is currently out of the country.=20

My best,

Dale Irving
