I desperately want to take my J35 on the Bermuda Race this year... One potential problem... The IMS Stability Index. My boat hasn't been measured yet (and is on the hard in Boston now...) but I'd like to get a feel for what it could be based on other peoples measured indicies. So, please send me your IMS Stability Index!

In case you are wondering, the Bermuda race is requiring an index of 115. I paid to get Diablo's index (a boat with a close hull number to my own) and it was 108.9. So, there is a potential problem for me.

Finally, has anyone else had this problem and found a way of increasing their stability index? (Full tanks... Extra lead bolted to the hull stringers...)

Help! Application deadline is 4/1!

Thanks,

Darren.
