Greetings from Annapolis,
We have two J/35's that have been donated the Naval Academy Sailing =
Foundation (NASF), Fast Attack and Trident.
Fast Attack is representing the Submarine Community, and Trident is =
representing the Navy Seals Community.
The boats are great, the Midshipmen love them, especially when we have a =
chance to race One-Design.
We're doing the Annapolis NOOD with Fast Attack. Trident will be doing =
the Annapolis-Newport race, and Block Is. Race Week this Summer.
The problem we are realizing more and more is that our vintage sails =
aren't going to survive the summer, and the cost of replacing the sails =
may next year may exclude our utilization of the J/35's next year.
Today at the Annapolis NOOD, I was seeing the J/35 fleet with mostly new =
sails. Wow, where they beautiful.=20
